MELON SORBET

In a medium saucepan bring the milk and sugar to a boil, stirring occasionally.  Cool until tepid.  Remove the seeds from the melons and scoop out the flesh.  Place the melon flesh in a blender or food processor and purˇe.  Stir the melon purˇe and rum into the milk mixture, mixing well.  Pour into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturerÕs instructions.
